The old style was better. Now clicking on curriculum’s just makes the page blank, then I have to reload. Plus is not so intuitive.

Agreed. If i click on anything is sends me back a challenge and its been super buggy.
The two are completely unrelated. As described in the announcement thread and elsewhere, the team decided to make a big update with all of the new curriculum and re-architecture of the site. They wanted to get the new features into the hands of users as soon as they were ready. The design and UI are not done. You can expect to see incremental upgrades to the UI roll out because introducing these does not impact core functionality. None of this has anything to do with the privacy update except that one of the things included in the update was increased privacy control.
