Tell us what’s happening:
I cannot seem to get the link to anchor to the image. I feel like I’ve done every iteration of this that I know how to. I think I am just lost. Any suggestions?

I think you are missing some >'s to signal the end of a tag.

Thank you! I tried to fix it with this:

        <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."</a>```

`This got the image back, but now the hint says " You should only add one opening anchor ( `a` ) tag. Please remove any extras." Kind of feeling like an idiot lol`

You only need to close your img tag with >…or /> and you are all set.
