Reinstalling nodejs would be a good idea. I recommend installing it with chocolatey, not a standalone installer.

Do you get the install error right after double-clicking the installer, or when it is doing the install? Try deleting the nodejs folder after the uninstall “C:\Program Files\nodejs” then reinstall it. If you can’t delete the folder reboot first and try again.
You can also try using something like Git Bash just to test and see if it’s something with the command prompt.
Did you change the console colors and if so how? The error seems to be coming from console-control-strings and you have some weird symbols after the command.
