So… I signed up for NuCamp in my community (and they super helpful!), but I also realized I don’t understand ANYTHING that is going on and it’s moving way too quickly for me.
For those of you who have successfully learned to code independently online, what meet-ups, if any, did you have? How did you practice coding outside of FCC? Like, how did you learn what your blind spots are and how to fix them? What resources or challenges did you face doing everything on your own?
The current camp I’m part of is full stack and app development, but as I don’t have time to learn JS and continue the camp, I think I need to drop out of it and come back next year maybe. What advice do y’all have? Should I be more active on GitHub? Stack Overflow? FCC forums? What did you do?
