Tell us what’s happening:

When I start code road in VSCode to complete the periodic table challenge, it starts in the build a student database 2 challenge on the second step. I had previously tried to use VSCode to complete the student database 2 challenge and instead finished the challenge in the browser. There is no option to start a challenge or input a url like the instructions say, I open the command pallet, use start code road and it opens to the student database 2 challenge.

workaround I think was to uninstall CodeRoad and then re-install it

I tried, this wouldn’t work for me. I have uninstalled vscode entirely and still no fix, now another issue is I don’t have an ssh key so it wont even let me try to complete the course again. I’m afraid I may have stuck myself until a gitpod fix is released

what is preventing you from making an ssh key?

does it hava no option of CodeRoad: Start ? if it is, the same happens to me. can not start learning database in vs code though

make sure you are installing version 0.15 of CodeRoad

I am not sure, it was a prompt in vs code that I do not have an ssh key and gave me the option to copy one and rebuild the container. I did what the prompt suggested and that worked but I haven’t gotten that prompt since and I’m not sure how I got it the first time.

you can manually install the coderoad extension from the vs code extensions area

can you clarify the current issue you are facing? (maybe some screenshots would be good but also describe what steps you followed to get to that point)
