I’ve been tinkering with the Holiday Deals Thread and it seems that some action I am taking is unpinning it. I haven’t been able to replicate it to an exact science yet. Seems that clicking the link to read it and clicking back or clicking on the FCC title to return to the front page unpins it sometimes, but not every time.
Yeah, looks like just opening and closing threads a few times will randomly unpin a pinned post. I’ve been able to replicate by opening and backing out of any other thread, opening and clicking FCC title in any other thread, opening and backing out of the pinned post, and opening and clicking FCC title in the pinned post.
That was my assumption. They’re pinned so you definitely see them, but they’re not sticky and getting all up in your limited UI when you already know about it.
Ahh…so just a terminology difference. I assumed pinned meant stickied.
It might be because of your user settings. At the very bottom there’s this
