The challenge says to add strong element. An element is enclosed in opening and closing angular braces(). The strong element is not a self closing element (look it up on google if you want to learn more) So, you need to close the strong element. So, the syntax for opening and closing an element is here:
<element>Your content here...</element>

In the challenge they are asking you to wrap the word hate inside the strong element. So, the word hate will be the content.
