Portfolio: Margin issues

Hello,

I wanted to go back and make adjustments to my portfolio. However I have this odd margain on the left side I can’t seem to get rid of, and I can’t seem to add a margain to the right side. Ultimately i’d like to put the 3 sections in the middle in a container that will adjust the side margins as the window size, and make full size webpages easier on the eye (similiar to FCC’s example https://codepen.io/FreeCodeCamp/full/YqLyXB/)

Here is my portfolio so far.

If anyone could direct me me to a resource, or offer any advice I would greatly appreciate it

To remove those yellow margins, add

body {
  margin: 0;
}

To remove horizontal scroll bar, change

section {
  width: 100%; // change vh to %
   ...

To make columns you need to add Bootstrap grid or media queries

AH! That worked perfectly. Margins are gone.

I was able to find a solution that allowed me to keep my vw and eliminate the scrollbar.

overflow-x: hidden; eliminated the horizontal scrollbar but let me keep my vertical
