In the portfolio section, I am unable to get the overlay to begin from the edge of the image. Instead it begins a bit below the image. Is this a problem in the structure of html or css or image dimensions?
any ideas to fix this or any other feedback would be helpful and appreciated!

Which edge are you talking about here? Where exactly do you want your name to be place relative to the image?
when you hover over any project image you get an overlay (slides bottom-up) but the point it begins is slightly below the image
(like maybe 5-10px below). The name of the project is not the problem. that has been placed on the overlay.
Sorry if I am not explaining correctly.
