I was writing code for MoodBoard , but suddenly the FreeCodeCamp page became unclickable and unresponsive to any input. After a while, my laptop’s Chrome memory, which had initially been just 3.1GB, shot up to 11GB in a matter of seconds. I closed the FreeCodeCamp tab and the memory returned to normal. Could this be a memory leak, or is it just my laptop?
My laptop:
Acer Aspire Lite AL14-51M, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD, Integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB), i5-1235U
notice how you are rendering <MoodBoard /> inside MoodBoard that’s an infinite recursive loop and the browser crashes because of it
if you are unable to go back to the page to delete the code, please clear your browser storage
Ok, thank you, will do that ![]()
Welp… All of my progress got deleted… Including the JavaScript and Responsive Web Design…
please log in with the same account you were using previously, if you need help to locate it please write to support@freecodecamp.org
