I was wondering if I’m the only one having problems with the preview on the Responsive Web Design course. I’m currently doing CSS colours by building a set of coloured markers. There’s nothing but the title in the preview although I’m going the 11th task and already created a div element and coloured it red. Since in the brief they write something like “Notice that your marker doesn’t blah blah blah” it means that some changes should happen in preview. I can certainly work without previews, but it’s much easier to learn when you see what happens with the final result. How can I fix this problem even if reloading the page doesn’t help?
What type of device and browser are you using, and can you share your code and challenge page?
I am working on my hp laptop and using Microsoft Edge. I also tried to open this task in Chrome but the preview didn’t work there either.
My current code is:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
<h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
Oh, God. Problem solved. I’m sorry I took up your time. I decided to continue the task without a working preview and saw that only after completing the 12th task the preview gets updated. It’s really confusing that the brief doesn’t say that I won’t be able to see any changes at this point. That’s why I thought the previews weren’t working. But the problem is solved, so thank you.
@EkaterinaDellMal sorry for late replies, I will open issue in GitHub about the step, and hopefully the description will be clearer and mention the preview issue.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention
