Problem with B1 English for Developers Certification (Beta) — attempt pending + profile mismatch (incognito vs normal)

Hello freeCodeCamp Support,

I’m having an issue with the B1 English for Developers Certification (Beta) exam results and my account data appearing inconsistently across browser sessions.

I took the exam on 2/6/2026 at 7:53:18 PM. As of 2/7/2026 at 11:45:30 PM, I still haven’t received any response or feedback, and the attempt remains pending.

What’s confusing is that I see different account states depending on how I log in (same account):

  • In Chrome (normal window/tab): my profile looks correct, and the exam attempt is registered and pending.

  • In Chrome (incognito window): after logging into the same account, my profile looks different, and no attempts are registered (it looks like I never took the exam).

I have some screenshots and photos showing how the profile and attempts page appear in both sessions (normal vs incognito) and how it looks in the exam app when I open it using my normal session, if you want I can send them to you, or attach it later on a response.

Since both sessions are logged into the same account, I expected my profile details and certification attempts to be identical regardless of normal/incognito mode.

Could you please check:

  1. Whether my exam submission from 2/6/2026 7:53:18 PM was received correctly and is still in the grading/processing queue, and what the expected timeline is for results.

  2. Whether there’s any issue causing my account to appear as a different profile / missing attempts when logging in via incognito (e.g., duplicated accounts, auth provider mismatch, caching/session issues, etc.).

  3. If you need anything else from me (username/email used, attempt/submission ID), I can provide it.

Please be patient, the exam will stay pending for at most 7 days

Ok, I’ll wait the 7 days, my only fear is that I loose the certification because of some problem with the account.
In both sessions (normal window and incognito) I was logged in the same account, but they look different, I don’t know why, but I swear is the same account and I logged in the same way on both.

is it the same username? you can check that clicking on your avatar in the top right corner.

is it the same email address? you can check that in the settings

I double checked, it was my mistake, I logged in the incognito session with another email, my bad. It was indeed a different account, sorry for the inconvenience.
