Problem with href

a elements need a destination web address called an href attribute. They also need anchor text. Here’s an example:

<a href="https://www.freecodecamp.org">cat photos</a>

but doesn’t accept

Please post your full code.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Create an 'a' element that links to https://www.freecatphotoapp.com
and has "cat photos" as its anchor text.

Read these instructions well and compare it to the solution you have provided.

Hint: href should be different
