Problem with internal link to footer

Tell us what’s happening:
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I keep getting the error message " The
footer tag should have an id attribute set to “footer”. I think I have that, but obviously I’m missing something. I can’t figure it out. Thank you!

Remember, a tag starts with < and ends with >. Is the id actually inside your footer tag?

Thank you. Here’s my code:

id="footer">Copyright Cat Photo App

I’ve tried different things, like deleting the Copyright Cat Photo App. I still get the same error message.

Sorry, it didn’t paste correctly in my reply to you, but if you scroll down in my original message, you’ll see that part of the code.

You don’t need to repost your code, we can see it in the original post. Take a look at the last line. Where does your footer tag end?
