Problem with the weatherMap project

I’m working on my weather page. After reading this thread, I have two questions:

  1. A question above asks if codepen is being run on http or https. How and where do you get to decide ?

  2. I figured my codepen must be on https, otherwise, why would I be getting the error when accessing the geolocation function. But when I checked, it appears my codepen is http. Why am I getting the error if both codepen and the geolocation are both http?
