Problems changing colors with CSS

I am stucked changing the color of h2 to blue, i wrote this:

<style>
 h2 {

   color: blue;

 }

 </style>

the h2 doesn´t change to blue, what am i doing wrong?

Add a class name to the h2 then style the class name lets see if it works

And make sure your css file is properly connect to the html :slight_smile:

To make the color of the H2 element change color to blue, you need to add style and /style to your code. Hopefully this helps.

Is this a question for one of the challenges?

If it’s the Use CSS Selectors to Style Elements challenge your code should be passing. If it isn’t make sure you do not have any dark mode/reader extension enabled.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
