Problems with .env challenge

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pass the .env challenge. When I use the ‘show’ option on glitch it correctly shows the expected json result based on the MESSAGE_STYLE key but it won’t pass the test. I’ve read through the forums and tried several suggestions from others including the suggestion to completely delete the MESSAGE_STYLE string from the .env file to allow the automated test to create it. I tried creating a solution through as an alternative but it won’t work there either (althought that may be to the limited information I was able to get about how to properly share the repo). I’ve even tried copying and pasting several solutions provided by others in the forums and nothing is working.

Anyway here is my code.

var app = express();

console.log("Hello World");

app.get("/", function(req, resp){
  resp.send("Hello Express");

const absolutePath = __dirname + "/views/index.html";

app.use(express.static(__dirname + "/public"));

const message = "Hello json";
    (req, res) => res.json(
        {"message": process.env.MESSAGE_STYLE === "uppercase" ? message.toUpperCase() : message

app.get("/", function(req, resp) {

//---------- DO NOT EDIT BELOW THIS LINE --------------------

module.exports = app;

and here is a link to my solution:
