Progress decreasing

I’m doing the python course.

I’ve reached the Linear Data Structures section. But, then I saw that my progress decreased for the python basic sections. I thought it was a bug but looks like when new labs or workshops are added, the progress decreases and I have to complete that new lab too.

I’m the same guy who said the python course was a bit bulky. Although i’m grateful you guys are working on it, it’s feels kinda bad when I see my progress go down. I agree it’s good practice, but it also kinda messes up my rhythm.

So, i’d suggest when new labs are added in sections that I have already completed, there is no need for me to go back to that section. I’d rather get a notification or some kind of sign that shows it’s new. I could then do it when I have nothing to do.

(If it’s too big of a task, don’t worry about it. It’s not that big of an issue, more like a rant.)

Hi @Kaash

The new certificate is still in beta, so material will be added, removed, and moved around.

If material appears in a section you have already completed, there is no requirement to complete it. Only the five certification projects count towards the exam requirement.

Happy coding

Oh I see. Thank you for clarifying.
