Project positioning advice

Hello. I’m in the process of creating the landing page and trying to create a hamburger menu using absolute positioning and JavaScript.

QUESTION: My question was that why is right: -#px not working. But left: -#px does?
LOCATION: In media query on line 213

Whenever I try to put the menu off of the page to the right it isn’t working, but when I do the same for the top or left it works?

I don’t have the extremely technical explanation off the top of my head other than to say that this is just how browsers work. You can move something to the negative left using absolute positioning and it won’t affect the width, but if you move it to the negative right then the browser will widen the page as far as needed to compensate and you’ll get a horizontal scroll bar so you can scroll to the content.

Just use left.
