Hi everyone — I’m looking for feedback on a project I built for my portfolio while applying for junior frontend roles.
It’s a gym app called Pump & Iron, live at https://pump-iron.vercel.app/ (code: GitHub - pradhansushil/pump-iron · GitHub). It started as a single feature idea and grew into a full-stack build using React, Firebase for auth and data, Tailwind CSS, and React Router v6.
Rather than general impressions, I’d appreciate feedback through a “would this help me get hired” lens — things like code architecture and React patterns, how the Firebase integration is structured, UI/UX, mobile responsiveness, or anything that might make a recruiter pause while skimming it.
One specific question I’d love opinions on: since this turned into a multi-feature app rather than one tightly polished feature, should I trim it down to a single core flow and label the rest “coming soon,” or does the wider feature set actually work in favor of a junior portfolio piece?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to look it over.
