Just curious as to the purpose of the ‘Profile’ page on the main site?
Even asks for you to create a profile image - yet there doesn’t appear to be anyway to view anyone else’s profile?
The main site account is even linked to the forum account! Just seems a little odd.
Is this just supposed to be used to link people to as proof of ‘Points’ and ‘Certifications’? Am I missing something?

For the most part, the freeCodeCamp profile page is used primarily to promote your work, as it keeps track of a given person’s progress over time and certifications. If you wanted to leverage your work on freeCodeCamp on your resume, portfolio you’d link to your profile page.
If the user has set their profile to public, you can see the parts that they have marked as visible:
