I need help with this. I posted about this problem yesterday but realized I didn’t give any good explanation so I’ll give it another try.
Note: I’m still very lost with Git.
I am not 100% sure what you are wanting to accomplish. Here are some points on this topic, though:
- You cannot push to
freeCodeCamp/boilerplate-mochachai, because you are not a maintainer of the repository. If you want to push your code to your own fork of the boilerplate, then that is fine.
- Completing the challenges locally still requires you to start the server, and submit the app URL. Specifically, this means something like
http://localhost:3000 for a locally-hosted project. The tests work by making
fetch requests to your app. So, you cannot submit a link to
github or just code.
- Certification projects cannot be submitted with locally-hosted links - the app must be publicly available.
