what is wrong with this:
var myStr =
"I am a \"double quoted\"string inside \"double quotes\"."; //
what is wrong with this:
var myStr =
"I am a \"double quoted\"string inside \"double quotes\"."; //
For the engine, you are writing:
myStr = "I am a" nonExistentvariableHere etc
After the a"
is waiting for a + sign or something, so it will return something is missed.
this what i’m asked to do:
"I am a \"double quoted\"string inside \"double quotes\".";
but still have issues
Try escaping the quotes,
For example: let a = " hello \"Sr\" "
alright, let me try it
thanks i got it correct now
I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>
) to add backticks around text.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
