If you start a string with a single quote, you must close it with a single quote. If you start a string with a double quote, you must close it with a double quote. You can not mix-and-match as you are doing in your code.

Incorrect:

var myString = "My 'favorite" episode from Stranger Things was ...";

Correct:

var myString = "My 'favorite' episode from Stranger Things was ...";
