Just curious: How does Twitter API know who’s tweeting? The example project - and the one I built - somehow know I’m the one tweeting. Shouldn’t it ask you for your login, password first?
The only way it knows who is tweeting is if you are already logged in at https://twitter.com. Otherwise, you are asked to log on before you are able to send the tweet.
Yes, as Sky says your computer is probably keeping track of your logins. It’s just like I can check FCC or Facebook or my email without having to log in, I just go to that page. If I ran your code on my computer, it would run my Twitter. Don’t worry, no one can get into your Twitter through your program unless they do it from a computer where you’ve left yourself logged into your Twitter account.
Makes sense. Thanks for responding.
