# React: Use Array.map() to Dynamically Render Elements - instructions need updated

I’ve just completed this challenge and found the instructions weren’t in line with the code given. The instructions say to define and initialise two states inside the constructor, and to delete the comment in the render() method. All this seems to have already been completed already, the only part left is to map over the toDoList.

Still loving FCC though!

I don’t see the state object in the starter code. Are you sure you didn’t do part of the challenge and ran it so it saved it?

Copy your finished code so you have a backup, then click the “Reset All Code” button and see if the starter code looks like it should.

I don’t remember starting it before, but I haven’t touched the React tutorials for a month or two, so maybe I did. I reset the code and it’s looking like it should. Thanks!
