If so, should I wait for the course to finish being maintained before I start studying from it?

The course tooling is under maintenance. The online tooling is not reliable at the moment. So, unless it happens to be working at the time you try it, we recommend following the instructions to complete the course locally.
The course content is complete, and not undergoing any major revisions at the moment.
