Are these separate from the many videos available on the main Free Code Camp YouTube channel: freeCodeCamp.org - YouTube ?
yes they are not in the same place
I wish if you reconsider this decision because itβs really hard to me to learn without visual effects like videos and it makes freecodecamp a unique platform for those who want to learn,
Of course it takes a lot of effort to stay updated and maintain all of thes data.
And i respect your decision and hoping you add the videos again ![]()
Welcome to the forum @Cyber0
It does not look like freeCodeCamp will reverse the decision. Maintaining the videos costs a lot of time and money, which can be redirected elsewhere. The videos are available online, see the above posts for links. You could also use the read aloud feature if your browser supports it.
Happy coding
What does TOP stand for?
The Odin Project
It is a website
Not all lectures are available on youtube which we watch on website these are short but full of knowledge. Reading take time then lecture please add
And all lecture are mixed up on youtube not playlist its difficult to find
My question is why freecodecamp remove video short lecture from fullstack web dev course in website
because they require too much resources to create and maintain
This is fine, but might I suggest putting links to related videos on YouTube? If the resource is already there on in a video form, then it would make no sense to continue with inhouse video creation; however, the video format is really beneficial in my opinion. The problem is if what Iβm being taught from a non-code camp video is relevant and up to date.
The videos are available on YouTube, per a comment above. The videos from the curriculum will not be kept up to date.
I was off for a while, Just to comeback to see that the freecodecamp lecture videos has been removed this is so disappointing. Those videos helped me understand better and enhance my learning progress
As someone who moved to transcript instead of watching the video, I obviously am fine with the change. Also if it speeds up the process of getting out all the lessons I welcome it. But I understand why some people are frustrated, maybe update the lessons in a second phase
Definitely understand that as with my work it is common to have to update videos regularly and it become time consuming and tedious with a small team or very little staff.
As a Film School Graduate, I do understand the hard work needed to simultaneously keep up with the videos and the curriculum. Yet, they were very helpful. Thank You for the attempt. ![]()
there is going soon be un update with a new useful thing that is much more maintainable
Adding some images to help understand the text would be a good compromise of video, especially on CSS part.
those are coming soon
