Hello,
I recently completed the Responsive Web Design Certification exam and would like some clarification regarding my certificate status.
My friend and I were taking the exam on the same day. Since she did not have access to her laptop, we used the same computer one after the other.
She logged into her FreeCodeCamp account first, generated her exam token, entered it into the exam environment, and completed her exam normally.
After she finished and logged out, I logged into my own account and generated my own exam token. However, when I entered my token into the exam environment, I received a message stating that my exam was already in progress, even though I had not started it.
When the exam opened, it appeared to be on approximately question 40-something, with many previous questions already answered. The remaining time was also reduced by about the same amount that had elapsed during my friend’s exam session. Realizing something was wrong, I exited the exam environment.
My friend’s certificate was issued yesterday, but my Responsive Web Design certificate is still in moderation. I recently completed the JavaScript curriculum as well, and that certificate was issued on the same day without any delay.
I am concerned that the system may have incorrectly associated my exam session with my friend’s session because the same computer was used.
Could someone please check whether there is an issue with my certification review or advise me on any steps I should take?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
