Responsive Web Design courses

Hi everyone,

I’d like some advise, feedback, or whatever you can give me on this.

I am currently going through the Responsive Web Design certificate course. I didn’t know where to start in learning coding so I picked this as it best fit my creativity side. I use Chatgpt to only help understand some of the topics. Basically, explain the topics at an elementary level so that I can understand it better because I would either overthink or have hard time trying to understand the concepts.

There are some topics that mention CSS old ways and that its not used as much nowadays currently in the tech world.

My question: should I not worry too much on some of topics and proceed the course as usual? I find myself spending a little bit more time on something to understand a method I most likely will never use. This is where Chatgpt comes in. I would have it break it down in some level or even give some analogy to really get it.

Has anyone ever gone through something like this or something similar? I’d like to hear some of your experiences, if anything.

If you feel you’ll never use it, you don’t have to learn it so deeply. You can keep it in the back of your head, but don’t discount old technology as well.
