Responsive web development CERTIFICATION

I just finished my responsive web development course but I have a few questions.

1 is it okay to not complete one or two lessons in the course aside from the certification project, and how will it affect me?

2, Regarding the PLAGIARISM, is it okay if some of my projects are almost similar to the example given to me? And will that affect my certification in anyway.

the certification projects and the exam are the only things you must complete

it would be better if you did the projects in your own style, but as long as you did not copy the code, it is not plagiarism
