Resume Feedback Request: Targeting Remote Developer Roles

Hi everyone,

I am highly motivated to land my first role and would greatly appreciate some candid feedback on my resume. I have been rigorously self-teaching and am ready to start working immediately.

For context on my background:

  • I have been steadily working through the freeCodeCamp curriculum.

  • I have also been tackling Full Stack Open.

  • I am currently building out some polished projects to finalize my portfolio.

  • My primary goal is to secure a remote position.

I welcome any constructive criticism! Specifically, I would love to know:

  • Does my project section effectively highlight my skills?

  • Is the formatting clean and easy to scan?

  • Are there any weak points or red flags I should address before sending this out?

  • How should I look for a job in the job market with my specific skills?

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Hey, solid start. One thing that made a big difference for me , rewrite your project bullets to show what the app does, not just what you built it with. Also since you’re going for remote roles, most of those companies run resumes through ATS filters, so make sure you’re matching keywords from the actual job posting. I use qarera dot com for finding the jobs and customize my cv for that role, way faster than doing it manually. Good luck out there.
