Resume query that how it should be for a fresher

Hey dev mates what mistakes that you avoid in making a resume if you have to make it for yourself if you are still in your freshers era and currently working as a developer, i am too confused watching too many videos and seeing too many templete but not able to decide how a fresher resume should look alike

I will personally keep it “1 page max” with P0 info only

  • your name, mobile and email

  • your GitHub profile

  • list of Technologies you know

  • You may add 1 / 2 of your best projects from GitHub profile

All the very best

and just one more question if you have time that suppose there is a entry level job posted on linked in and we hear from a lot of people on youtube that always put some unique project on your resume and like that but as a begginer i am so confused that what type of project should be on the resume as a fresher because almost evry unique idea is made (mostly) if any advice on that so it could really help me and once again thank you so much

the idea doesn’t need to be unique, the project should tho. Like, don’t put in there a project you made following a tutorial, unless you made big changes from it

okkay thats relaxing, like recently i made a web app called chatVault which allow user to send your message anonymously and allow user to create a group either public or private to chat without concerning over their privacy exposed everytime they login they provided with a differnt unique session names its for a hackathon but unfortunately organisers barely listen to my idea like in 10 seconds only but deeply intereted in a iot project that is a remote control car what do you think thats a project i should mention in my resume and also deploy it although its not fully made

  • What’s your passion / hobby ?

  • Build project/s based on that, who knows that project itself can be million USD

If you search Twitter / X, there are loads of developers who are making millions working from south east asian beaches and don’t bother to work for others.

Do spend few hours daily to find out various “solopreneur developers”, follow them on X; get connected and do internship. Don’t bother about working in big companies.

some recommendations

  • x.com
  • x.com
  • Also search in YT about many other great “solopreneur developers”, start making connections with them, learn from them
  • Finding good people is like finding good companies to invest, it takes time and efforts

I would suggest try out this as well or why not work on hobby projects ( which you can talk passionate for hours during interviews )

  • e.g. I love Stock Market, Tennis, Formula 1. I will build projects based on these project so that you can play all the roles like Product Manager, Designer, Engineer etc on daily basis
