Return Early Pattern for Functions new

I’ve tried everything I don’t understand what to do to get the undefined return.

Your code so far

// Setup
function abTest(a, b) {
  // Only change code below this line
   console.log (a, b);

   console.log (-a, -b);
  undefined;

  // Only change code above this line
return Math.round(Math.pow(Math.sqrt(a) + Math.sqrt(b), 2));
  }

// Change values below to test your code
abTest(2,2);

to return undefined you can do this two different ways,

  • return; is returning nothing so it is undefined by default.
  • return undefined; is returning undefined implicitly.

Also, remember you need to test the values of the parameters.

if a is less than 0 or b is less than 0
 return
