Why Math.random()*2 and why then add 0 (which doesn’t change the value)?

According to the array order (0, 1, 2)…
I used this formula: Math.random() * (max - min) + min;

You essentially want to return a random whole integer between 0 and 2, so that you can select a random index from the options array.

Math.random() on its own returns a pseudo-random floating point number between 0 and 1 (always less than 1). Try console.log(Math.random()) to see the kind of result you get.

If you then multiply this by 10 (for instance), you’ll get a random floating point number between 0 and 10 (always less than 10).

Applying Math.floor() to this will then round to the nearest whole integer, resulting in a random integer between 0 and 9.

So, applying this logic, if you want to return an integer between 0 and 2…?
