console.log(hasPlayerWonTheRound("Rock", "Scissors"));
console.log(hasPlayerWonTheRound("Scissors", "Rock"));
console.log(hasPlayerWonTheRound("Scissors", "Scissors"));
true
true
true

It seems to always return true. Your if statement is not checking the variables at all.

if ("Rock")

This will always evaluate to true

It was if(rock, scissors) as in if player picked rock and computer picked scissors return true. Is thst not how function parameters work?

You just have a bunch of strings, all strings except empty ones are truthy values.

You need to compare the parameters to the strings.

function sayHelloIfJackCalls(name) {
  if (name === "Jack") {
    console.log("Hello", name);
  } else {
    console.log("You are not Jack");
  }
}

sayHelloIfJackCalls("Jack"); // Hello Jack
sayHelloIfJackCalls("Jane"); // You are not Jack
