Tell us what’s happening:

It says my function is not returning the correct output, but it is? I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the character spacing in “” or if it’s a problem with the code.
The error message says my output should read “Class average: 71.7. Your grade: F. You failed the course.”

Your code so far

function getAverage(scores) {
  let sum = 0;

  for (const score of scores) {
    sum += score;
  }

  return sum / scores.length;
}

function getGrade(score) {
  if (score === 100) {
    return "A++";
  } else if (score >= 90) {
    return "A";
  } else if (score >= 80) {
    return "B";
  } else if (score >= 70) {
    return "C";
  } else if (score >= 60) {
    return "D";
  } else {
    return "F";
  }
}

function hasPassingGrade(score) {
  return getGrade(score) !== "F";
}

You are very close. You have two typos in each of your return statements regarding capitalization.

Here’s the format you need for the return statements.

Class average: average-goes-here. Your grade: grade-goes-here. You passed the course.

Hope this helps. :slight_smile:

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much. Capitalization always gets me :sweat_smile:
