Scientific Computing with Python Projects - Arithmetic Formatter

receiving this error message in the Scientific Python | Arithmetic Arranger

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “/home/runner/boilerplate-arithmetic-formatter-11/main.py”, line 4, in
from arithmetic_arranger import arithmetic_arranger
ImportError: cannot import name ‘arithmetic_arranger’ from ‘arithmetic_arranger’ (/home/runner/boilerplate-arithmetic-formatter-11/arithmetic_arranger.py)

I have completed the other 4 scientific python challenges. So not sure what is causing this error.

I did have to run pip install pytest to get past that error.

Tried to update the Replit Config to “Python Main” but that did not have any effect.

can you post a link to your replit?

replit link:

a syntax error: if len(problems>=5):

The condition should be enclosed in parentheses:

if len(problems) >= 5:
 for s in range(lenght):

should be length

I did not have a chance to check syntax, I could not progress. I thought it was a Replit/System error
I had misspelled the name of the function I had arithmetic_arranAger - extra A
Thanks, it is working now.

yes ,you have a typo in the function name. It should be arithmetic_arranger , not arithmetic_arranager .

def arithmetic_arranager
