Sending an http command to an axis camera

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a really simple interface to send a command to an axis camera:

http://IPADDRESS/axis-cgi/io/output.cgi?action=1:/

I’ve used a button in a form to do this, but naturally it interprets sending this command as wanting to open a link and opens another browser tab.

Is there a way to do that that just sends that as a command and doesn’t open a tab/window?
