Shortest Path... step 24

What does "inf’ stand for? INT transforms a string to a number or integer. What is ‘inf’?

‘inf’ for infinity.

For that, use the float() function with the string inf as argument to generate a floating point number representing the positive infinity.

When you use "inf" as an argument for float(), it’s not treated as a string literal but as a special string representation that is recognized by Python to denote positive infinity.

For example, if you want to use negative infinity, you can do:

float("-inf")
