Should i start with website or youtube?

Hello
I am totally new to coding with 0 experience. I have begun the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum when i stumbled over the youtube videos from fcc explaining html in 2 hours and that got me wondering. Should i just continue on my course, should i start with watching the videos or should i chance course?

It depends what you want to achieve. At the end of the FCC curriculum you will get a certificate which you won’t get on You Tube. On FCC the lessons are all set out for you to do, and you get instant feedback, with the handy help button to take you to similar queries on the forum. Nothing wrong with doing both if you want to to break it up a bit.

Do whichever you like better. Or do both! They’re free.

I personally don’t think I get as much out of video lessons as other media, but to each their own.

I would suggest do both but most important thing is getting hands dirty while watching YT video means coding along with and seeing what’s happening etc

More you get hands dirty each day, faster you will learn

One more thing, if a concept either on FCC / YT teaches you particular technique

e.g. how to do 2 + 2, then you should try other variations as well like 4 + 3 etc

Trial and error is important while coding

Stick with the Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum since it gives you a structured path.
