Simulation- Newton cardle

For me I have tried to express the first ball like a simple pendulum than add the other balls… But it doesn’t work!

focus on just one ball for a second, let’s look at ball number 1 (the second one from the left)

We have an equation for x_(1, t+1)

We can use this to update the position of ball 1, using only the values of x_(0, t), x_(1, t), x_(2, t), and x_(1, t-1)

What exactly have you tried? Do you have code you can show me here?

Its me! Eden!! Sorry its says to me that I have reached the maximum number of reply as a new member! I can not reply for 2 hours
Now I’m using an account of my friend

Not really!
I delete everything because it don’t have any sense

Alrighty, start again from the beginning and get to where you got stuck before, then post some code here

Actually it’d be good to see how you did it for the simple pendulum

Sorry! But I have to give back this account for my friend! Also I have to focus on my math test tomorrow!
So I appreciate a lot your help! But I think that it’s enough for me!
Thank you

Hi sir!
My friend Eden ask you if you can solve this problem for him!!?

This thread has been very disappointing, I was glad to see a physics question but I’m not going to do someone’s homework for them

In hindsight, I realise that the textbook page posted almost walks you through the problem, so I suggest you start there if you revisit this

Hi!
Please can I get you email to contact you?

Well I don’t think this is how we start! But
I think I need help from the beginning to be able to continue!
And please tell me what is in the “rest of eq” because I’m not sure

Please answer quickly!!!
