Size your Images (Problem with step 1)

I can’t go further, because step “Your img element should have the class smaller-image.” doesn’t want to be completed. And the url for default image with red kitty doesn’t work, so I use random pic from the internet. Can it somehow affect? I need to go futher, but I can’t. Thanks in advance!

Your code so far

<link href="" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
  .red-text {
    color: red;

  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, Monospace;

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: Monospace;
  .smaller-image {
    width: 100px;

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<img class="smaller-image" src="" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p class="red-text">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>

Link to the challenge:

the code seems correct, and yes if i changed the img src it wouldn’t let me pass the test too. so just use original src… it should work. if not try to refresh the browser.
so other than img src, everything looks correct.

Thanks for reply. But original url doesn’t work and so step 2 will not work too.

I’ve seen a bug where user requires to refresh their browser in order to allow the test to pass, have you tried refreshing the browser too?

Well, I came home from work, tried one more time and passed the lesson. Perhaps the problem was in work pc/browser/restricted connection etc. Anyway, thank you for your help! Problem is solved.
