SpaceX plans world-wide satellite internet

SpaceX plans to launch a network of 4,425(!) satellites into low orbit, starting in 2019.

We would have low-latency high-speed internet everywhere on earth.

But isn’t the ping on a satellite ISP 300 ms+?

if they can get that down to less than 100, that’s great news!

They say in the article that they can get it down to 25-30ms by orbiting super close to the earth.

I do wonder how long these would even stay up. Anyone familiar with orbital dynamics?
