Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

You forget to close the img tag. Since img is an self closing element so you need to close without an opening-closing tag. The below code is right.

<img src="" alt= "A business cat wearing a necktie."  />

I tried to copy your code and it run perfectly on my device. Can you send a screenshot about the error.

Make sure ur browser screen is at 100%, dark mode is disabled and you don’t have any extensions disturbing the freeCodeCamp website

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
