It keeps saying the second should not be nested in with the first one and idk what to do.

your both tags are closing, should not be the first one opening?

hi, I think you need to add the second section elements at the end of the first one instead of nesting the second one inside first one, like this:

<section>
<p>the first section</p>
</section>
<section></section>
