Step 53 registration form

Hi all you lovely peeps,

Can you help me? I’ve tried searching and no luck.
Here’s the prob:

Step 53

With a display of block the submit button sits flush against the left edge of its parent.

Use the same technique used to center the form to center the submit button.

  **Your code so far**
input[type="submit"] {
  display: block;
  width: 60%;

}
input[type="submit"]{width: 60vw;

max-width: 500px;

min-width: 300px;

margin: 0 auto;

}

You have two selectors for submit inputs. I don’t see any selector for form elements

Hi ya Ariel,

Thank you so much for replying. You’re a star!

We had to do this challenge first to center the form.

Step 40Passed

Center the form element, by giving it a margin of 0 auto. Then, fix its size to a maximum width of 500px, and a minimum width of 300px. In between that range, allow it to have a width of 60vw.

Here is my code:

form{margin:0 auto; max-width:500px; min-width:300px;width:60vw;}

It says that its correct.

So in my code for challenge 53, I have used the same technique because the question says to do so.

#Step 53

With a display of block the submit button sits flush against the left edge of its parent.

Use the same technique used to center the form to center the submit button.

Here is the code:
input[type=“submit”] {
display: block;
width: 60%;

}
input[type=“submit”]{margin:0 auto; max-width:500px; min-width:300px;width:60vw;}

}

The feedback is this:

#H int

You should give the submit button a margin of 0 auto.

Helpppppp?? I am stuck!
