Step 60: CSS Color Markers

Tell us what’s happening:
My code is clearly correct, but somehow I’m still being marked wrong. Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance.

  **Your code so far**
/* file: index.html */
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
  <title>Colored Markers</title>
  <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles.css">
</head>
<body>
  <h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
  <div class="container">
    <div class="marker red">
    </div>
    <div class="marker green">
    </div>
    <div class="marker blue">
    </div>
  </div>
</body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */
h1 {
text-align: center;
}

.container {
background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);
padding: 10px 0;
}

.marker {
width: 200px;
height: 25px;
margin: 10px auto;
}

.red {
background: linear-gradient(180deg, rgb(122, 74, 14) 0%, rgb(245, 62, 113) 50%, rgb(162, 27, 27) 100%);
}

.green {
background: #007F00;
}

.blue {
background-color: hsl(240, 100%, 50%);
}

Challenge: Step 60

Link to the challenge:

What response are you getting?

this is my answer:

.green {
background: #007F00;
}

But this is what it’s saying when I check the code…

Sorry, your code does not pass. Keep trying.
Your .green CSS rule should have a background property with the value #007F00 .

But that’s what I have, correct? Weird.

When I just delete -color it passes for me. I didn’t touch anything else.

Hey Will,

Thanks man. Yea I delete “-color” and still no luck. It’s the strangest thing. I even ran into the exact same issue with problem 66 as well.

If you are using safari, we are aware of the issue, and working on it

Yes, I was using Safari.

I switched over to Chrome and it worked.

Thanks for your help! :blush:
