Step4 (New) Responsive Web Design

It said link element should be a self-closing element and be within your head element.
But I alredy wrote it down.

 <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles.css">

Please tell me what wrong it is?

Hey there! Welcome to the forums! :slightly_smiling_face:
Could you share a link to the lesson? Your full code might be good too.

It looks right to me based on what you’ve posted, but there could be something in the context around it.
One thing I’ve seen someone mention also is that some lessons require a slash in self closing tags (though I don’t believe that’s a requirement in HTML5), so might try adding one.

Could you share your full code?

Did you do this part of the lesson?

Add a title element to the head, and give your project a title of Registration Form.

Yes, I already wrote

 <title>Registration Form</title>

But the hint is element should be a self-closing element.

I would try adding a slash to the end of the tag then.

Yeah!, I can solve it. Thank you

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
