Stuck on Deconstructing assignment. How do I use it with a string

Tell us what’s happening:

Why don’t they use the same god damn format for the question that they do in the example?!

I don’t even know where to start with this.

Your code so far

function getLength(str) {
  "use strict";

  // change code below this line
  const {len : str.length} = str; // change this
  // change code above this line

  return len; // you must assign length to len in line

}

console.log(getLength('FreeCodeCamp'));
